Your Instructors

Jeffrey Shirreffs
After serving in the U.S. Army, Jeffrey attended the College of the Florida Keys where he obtained a degree in Marine Engineering and then pursued a career in the marine industry, focusing on marine electronic diagnostics and repair. In 2018, Jeffrey found himself working in the industrial electrician industry aiding in the recovery of Panama City, Florida following hurricane damage. Having a strong mechanical and electronic background, and obtaining his certified Master IPC Trainer (MIT) and ETA Senior Certified Electronics Technician (CETsr) credentials, Jeffrey found his new home as an instructor at STRAC Institute’s Melbourne, Florida campus.

Clyde Dolly
As Director of Site Operations at STRAC Institute, Clyde brings with him more than 15 years in the electronics field, working with start-ups as well as Fortune 50 Companies. In the beginning of his career, Clyde served in the U.S. Army as an Automated Logistical Specialist (MOS 92A) attached to the Class-9 Operation setup during Operation Joint Endeavor in Hungary. Clyde has over 25 years of warehouse and logistics management experience with positions held from supervisor to director of materials. Clyde also has 11 years of communications electronic refurbishing experience, supervising a team of testing components using various electronic equipment and techniques. A STRAC graduate, Clyde has earned his ETA Master Certified Electronics Technician (CETma) and Master IPC Trainer (MIT) credentials.
