Your Instructor

Chris Stayton
Chris joined STRAC Institute in 2021 as an instructor at the STRAC Orlando, Florida campus. Chris served as an Electronics Technician in the U.S. Navy for nine years. He has worked as an instructor in both private post-secondary education, as well as in electronics for Hewlett Packard’s Keysight Technologies and as an Avionics Technician for ST Engineering. Chris received his B.S. degree in Education, graduating with honors from SIU and he earned an M.S. degree in Computer Systems, graduating with honors from UOP. Chris is a Certified IPC CIT and has earned his ETA Senior Certified Electronics Technician (CETsr) credential. When Chris isn’t teaching electronics, he enjoys remodeling projects and working on cars.
